Biography

MaryAnne Mathews is the author and performer of the one-act play Mrs. President: A Visit With Mary Todd Lincoln. MaryAnne premiered the role of Mary Todd Lincoln in Ken Jones’s A.Lincoln: A Pioneer Tale in 2012 at Lincoln Amphitheatre. She has performed  with Carmel Community Players, Carmel Theatre Company, Pretty in Pink productions, TNT Theater, and her own Past Times Past Tunes  presentations of history in story and song. She has performed as a part of Evansville's Irish traditional group Rowan Tree. MaryAnne has been a journalist and taught in public schools for 28 years.
